Religion (Blest Are We) by Silver Burdett Ginn:  A Scott Foresman Imprint

  • Recognize Catholicism as a way of life.
  • Understand and use prayer in everyday life.
  • Understand that the Eucharist is the center of Catholicism.

Read and interpret graphs.

  • Know basic addition and subtraction facts to 18.
  • Learn basic multiplication facts.

  • Learn basic needs of living things (plants and animals).

  • Basic understanding of matter, energy and force.

Handwriting (Zaner-Bloser)

  • Write with continuous stroke
  • Taught throughout the year

Other
Students attend classes in Spanish, Music, Technology, PhyEd and Media Center.

Homework Expectations
Second graders are expected to complete 20-30 minutes of daily homework.
