Hello and welcome the St. Joseph Catholic Parish website!
I would like to extend an open hand to any and all seekers, long time parishioners or newcomers. St. Joseph is a family oriented, vital and growing parish community with a long and rich history. We recognize that the youth of the parish are our church’s future and we are here to help families form their children in the Catholic faith through our Faith Formation program. We provide the opportunity for families to enroll their children beginning at age three with regular classes currently running thru Confirmation. Classes for children age three and four meet on Sunday mornings from 10:25-11:35am. Kindergarten thru grade three meets on Sunday mornings from 9:10-10:15am. Grades four thru ten meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:45pm. We would love to have your family join us!
As Catholics, we have the awesome gift of God’s grace through the Sacraments. We use Faith Formation as an opportunity to catechize not only the children, but the whole family. Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist begins at the start of the school year in second grade. Confirmation at St. Joseph is a two year process beginning in grade nine with Confirmation occurring at the end of the tenth grade year. There are parent meetings for all three of the above mentioned Sacraments with student requirements for Confirmation as well. Details can be found on the Sacrament’s page of our website.
If you have a child that you would like to register for classes it is never too late! You can simply download a registration form by clicking on “Registration” and going to Faith Formation and clicking to print out the form. If you prefer registering face to face, forms are available in the Parish Office. Whichever way you choose to get involved we welcome you and your family to our program and parish life!
